Marcus Bonna screw bell french horn case with detachable compartment for bell flare. This model MB horn case offers the smallest outside footprint & most travel-friendly options of any other model. Despite being limited in storage space for mutes & other larger accessories, the actual interior pocket, for oil & other smaller items, is slightly larger than in the MB5’s. By far the best feature of this case is the detachable bell compartment. Being able to separate the two components *virtually guarantees you’ll never be forced to gate check your horn on even the most packed puddle-jumper flight (*save for an extra surly gate agent bent on ruining your day…bent being the operative word). One other bonus option with the MB3 case is that it can be special ordered with a zipper system to connect TWO different body components for carrying TWO separate horns if you should ever have to travel with your double as well as your triple, etc.
