**SOLD**Marcinkiewicz Rembrandt 3X Trumpet owned by Mic Gillette

Up for sale is a Marcinkiewicz Rembrandt Bb Trumpet previously owned by famed Tower of Power trumpet player and TOP founding member, the late Mic Gillette. Joe Marcinkiewicz made this trumpet personally for Mic in the early 2000's (as the leadpipe engraving indicates). This trumpet features a 3X bell, 0.464 Large bore, a #354 Leadpipe and a whopping 5-3/8" bell flair. It is also fit with spring trigger mechanisms for the 1st & 3rd valve slides with gorgeous inlays that match the finger button pearls, accented by a gold washed bell and trim. After Mic's ownership it was purchased by Teddy Mulet who's own impressive resume is, as stated on the Marcinkiewicz website, as follows:

"Teddy is the trumpet and trombone player and arranger on all the Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine hits of the 80s and 90s. Other touring experience includes Justin Timberlake, Paul Anka, Iris Chacón, Celia Cruz and Donna Summer. Mr. Mulet has also appeared on numerous albums by artists including Jon Secada, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias, Enrique Iglesias, Jimmy Buffett, Jennifer Lopez and Celia Cruz. Teddy is currently playing lead trumpet with Blood Sweat and Tears."

The instrument has been professionally ultrasonically cleaned prior to sale and is free of any red rot or notable damage. As is expected with an instrument of this age and playing history, it has some scratches in the finish, some minor pings here and there, but almost zero plating wear.
