Whatever I’ve needed — major repair, minor repair or cleaning — Cromer Music has always provided outstanding work with great customer service. Thanks Chris… I’ll see you soon (yes, my horn is that dirty… again).

Found myself on the road passing through Chris’ town. TSA managed to drop my horn and crushed it while they were looking through my valve oil. After bringing it to Chris, it ended up working better than before!

There is a short list of people that I will let work on my horns, and fortunately for me Cromer Music is at the top of that list.

Thanks for the great service and time you spent listening to me play and talk about the trumpet. I come from a family of master machinists so I know a little about soldering and other metalwork. The work I saw on your workbench is top notch — best soldering since I saw Steve Shires do a modification for me at Osmun Brass 20 years ago.

The flugel arrived today and it looks (and feels) great! Thanks for doing a good job on it! I’ve let my students and colleagues know about you, so maybe they will send some work your way. I certainly will when the next project is ready.

I’ve known Chris for a number of years and I only trust him with my horns. Not only is he great with repairs and modifications, he knows trumpets! I live very close and it is easy for me to drop in and play some horns or try some mouthpieces and just talk shop with him. He is always very accommodating and works around my schedule.

Thanks again for the great work on the C. It’s good to have a fine craftsman such as yourself close by. Keep up the good work and I’ll spread the word up here. Cheers!

Chris made me a tuneable bell trumpet and added Amado water keys. The horn is great. I love it — it has a nice warm, fat sound. Chris is an excellent craftsman. His workmanship is beautiful. If you are looking for a good, talented and careful craftsman, contact Chris.

What an amazing job you have done on the Harrelson! It is a vast improvement over the original design. I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical that someone as young as you could be a seasoned craftsman… I doubt no more! The horn looks good and SOUNDS much better too. There will be a few other of my horns coming your way.

I’m really pleased with the Eb bell remount. The horn plays great and the valves are working fine. Your work is superb, and it’s been a pleasure to do business with you. I won’t hesitate to recommend your services.
